Use and storage of your personal information
When you supply any personal information to Tradesmen-Recommended we have legal obligations towards you in the way we deal with that data. In general, any information you provide to us will only be used within Tradesmen-Recommended. It will never be supplied to any third party without first obtaining your consent, unless we are obliged or permitted by law to disclose it.
When a property owner member advertises a project on this site, the only contact details trade members will see are town and county. Their phone number, email address, name etc. are not shown (unless they are included in the project description by the member).
Trade members contact details are available to all site visitors in the Trade Directory.
Access to your personal information
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information Tradesmen-Recommended holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected.
Terms and Conditions
The aim of Tradesmen-Recommended is to minimise the risk of a project nightmare.
Although all builders recommended will have passed our vetting process we can accept no responsibility for inferior work carried out. However, on our web site there is a customer feedback form where consumers can register a complaint about one of the recommended companies. The company must respond within four days of the complaint being logged or their access to our site will be revoked with no reimbursement of their subscription fee.
