Q: What is the vetting process for trade members?

Your protection from rogue traders involves the following:

• We check if the trader is listed on any complaints web sites.
• We check if they are known as an unscrupulous trader by Trading Standards.
• The tradesman or business must prove that they are a registered company.
• They must provide two testimonial letters or allow us to contact two previous customers for a reference.
• On our web site there is a customer feedback form where consumers can register a complaint about one of the recommended companies. The company must respond within four days of the complaint being logged or their access to our site will be revoked with no reimbursement of their subscription fee.
